Deacon
Kim serves at OnFire Ministries as a Deacon with a heart to extend God’s love through practical care and warm hospitality. She oversees the coffee shop whose proceeds, along with direct donations, primarily fund the Acts of Love ministry—reviewing requests for local help and assistance and ensuring needs are met with compassion. As part of the Hospitality team, Kim makes sure regular attendees and visitors feel welcomed and supported, answering questions and assisting with events to create a spirit of belonging. Her life purpose is to be the hands and feet of Jesus and an encourager to others. One of her favorite testimonies is helping families in need at Christmas with gifts for children and grocery cards—walking alongside hardworking parents who just need a little help. Married for almost 40 years, Kim is a proud mom and “Grammy,” who delights in having fun with her grandchildren and imparting wisdom in the process. A registered nurse of 40 years, she still treasures talking directly with patients rather than just the computer. She loves flowers, eagerly awaits spring to shop for them, and enjoys visiting Montana—especially Mission Valley. Though she doesn’t have a single favorite Scripture, she treasures the Psalms and loves studying the meanings of words in Greek and Hebrew.
